Patricia Zabaldo

Patricia Ann Zabaldo was born to Sarah Suiter Gourley on January 4,1950 in Hamilton, Ohio. She later was adopted and raised by Sam and her maternal aunt Mary Zabaldo.

She graduated from Rancho Alamitos High School in Garden Grove, California with the class of 1968. In 1969 while living in Riverside, California she had her daughter Tricia Marie and in 1973 her son John Anthony. While living in California she was employed by Disneyland at the American Restaurant. In 1982 she had her last child. A daughter Tonia Lin in Lincoln, Nebraska.

In 1983 she moved with her daughter Tonia to Mankato, Kansas and worked for Kennedy’s and both cafes. This is also where she met the love of her life John Dewey.

Pat had a love for dream catchers, crystals and lived to read. Pat had an infectious personality that lit up a room. She loved to make people laugh and put a smile on their face.

She departed this life on September 11, 2020 at Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit, Kansas at the age of 70 years, 9 months and 7 days.

Those left to treasure her memory are her significant other John Dewey of Mankato, Kansas. Children Tricia Pavusa of Ardmore, Tennessee, John Pavusa and girlfriend Candace Butler of Mankato, Kansas and Tonia Angley and fiancé Johnnie Goodwin of Beloit, Kansas. Grandchildren Taylor Jackson, River Pavusa, Caitlin Vanderpuyl, John Michael Pavusa, Floyd Pavusa, Gavin Bouska, Stevie Angley and Tobias Goodwin.
