James "Jim" Roush

James “Jim” Roush was born December 31, 1942 in Sacramento, California, to Orval and Florence (Stuart) Roush. He died November 1, 2017, at the Belleville Health Center, Belleville, Kansas, where he was undergoing therapy.
Jim had served in the United States Armed Forces in the Navy. He was an over the road truck driver for twenty-four and a half years, completely accident free. Jim also had operated at a gas station, been a house painter, and worked in a junk yard.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, his son – Richard, two brothers, two sisters, and two puppy dogs – Choco and Windy.
He is survived by his loving wife – Joye for 42 years; daughter – Tawnia and husband, Ronnie Roush of Canyon, Texas; 4 sons – David and wife, Leesa Roush of Lazbuddie, Texas, Beyan Roush of Ellsworth, Kansas, Robert and wife, Becky Roush of Formoso, Kansas, Ronald Roush of St. Joseph, Missouri; 10 grandsons; 12 granddaughters; 14 great-grandchildren; two dogs – Misty and Angel; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family may have services at a later date. James requested cremation. The family requested that memorials in honor of James “Jim” Roush, be left at the Melby Mortuary, to help with expenses. Melby Mortuary, Mankato, Kansas, was in charge of arrangemeGuestbook
