Linda Grace Mcphee

Linda Grace McPhee was bornJuly 31, 1946, in Peekskill, New York, to Robert Kenneth and Bernice (Cudworth) Gilleo, and died Sunday, August 29, 2010, at the Republic County Hospital, Belleville, Kansas, at the age of 64 years, and 28 days.

She married Arthur McPhee in 1974 at Peekskill, New York. To this union two children were born. They later divorced.

She was preceded in death by her father. Linda is survived by her daughter, Melissa and husband, Danny Hanson of Mankato, Kansas; son - John McPhee of Hermann, Missouri; seven grandchildren; her mother, Bernice Gilleo; sister, Penny Jennings; and brother, Robert Gilleo, Jr. all of Newburgh, New York; and many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, September 2, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., at the Melby Mortuary Chapel, Mankato, Kansas, with Pastor Tessa Zehring officiating. Music was Footprints in the Sand and Go Rest High On The Mountain. Casket bearers were: Dean Alcorn, Kyle Hanson, Rodney Brown, John Einstahr, James Berry, and Delvin Hanson. Interment was in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Mankato, Kansas. The family suggests memorials to: Linda Grace McPhee Memorial Fund in care of the mortuary.
