Brita Jean Young

Brita Jean Young, of Beattie, Kansas, was born March 11, 1950 to Betty (Soder) and George Victor Young, at San Angelo, Texas. She died March 30, 2010, at Community Memorial Health Care in Marysville, Kansas, at the age of 60 years, and 19 days.

Brita was handicapped, and did not receive any formal education. She was preceded in death by her Step-father, Donald Howland.

She is survived by her mother, Betty Howland, and sister, Jennifer and husband, Thomas, Ciganek of Watertown, WI.

Private inurnment services will be held at a later date in the Balch Cemetery, Formoso, Kansas. The family suggests memorials to: Twin Valley Developmental Services, 307 Whitting Street, Beattie, Kansas, 66406. Melby Mortuary, Mankato, Kansas, was in charge of arrangements.
