David Joseph Kimminau was the 10th child born on January 30, 1949 to William Joseph and Loretta Katherine (Weingardt) Kimminau in Nelson, Nebraska. He was called to the Lord on April 17, 2016 at Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems, Beloit, Kansas, at the age of 67 years 2 months and 17 days.
David grew up and was raised on a farm 17 miles north of Mankato where he enjoyed gathering eggs and caring for the farm animals. In 1991, Bill, Loretta, David and Susie moved to Mankato where David and Susie enjoyed taking long walks around town and going up to coffee to visit with the community. After the passing of Bill and Loretta, David moved to Beloit, Kansas. Through the help of OCCK, Inc. assistance, David obtained a job at Sunflower Manufacturing where he took great pride in assembling parts for others to use.
