Gary Lee Douglas

Gary Lee Douglas, 61 years of age, of Mankato, Kansas, passed away after a short illness, Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings, Nebraska . He was born on September 7, 1952 in Beloit, Kansas to Melvin and Virginia (Shoemaker) Douglas. Gary was a graduate of North Central Kansas Technical College, in Beloit, Kansas in Auto Mechanics.. Gary enjoyed auto mechanics. He worked on old cars and motorcycles, and success would give him a smile.

Gary is survived by his mother, Virginia Beth Douglas, ex-spouse, Kelly Champier, son, Toby Douglas, daughter, Tessa Douglas, son, Robert "Bobby" Douglas, son, Skyler Douglas, daughter, Kayla Douglas. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Lee Douglas, brother, Terry Lynn Douglas.

The family is honoring Gary's wishes with a cremation service and a family service at a later date. inurnment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery, Beloit, Kansas.
