Debra Ann Fogo

Debra Ann (Neilson) Fogo, 57, from Panama City Beach, Florida passed away on July 30th, 2013 in Panama City, Florida after battling many illnesses. Through this she showed the spirit of a pioneer woman. She was born on September 20th, 1955 in Beloit, Kansas, to Murlin and Marlene (Shunkwiler) Neilson. She grew up in Mankato, Kansas and lived in Andover, Kansas before moving to Panama City Beach, Florida. Her hobbies included painting, sewing, and collecting. Debra met and married to George Fogo on April 19th, 1974. From this union two daughters were born, Melissa (Billy) Harmon and Daana Fogo.
Debra is survived by her husband, George of the home; two daughters - Melissa (Billy) Harmon and Daana Fogo; her mother, Marlene Neilson of Mankato, her siblings- Donald, Roger, and Michael Neilson, Kathy (Fred) Putman, and Mona (Michael) Terry; Grandmother of Brayden and Dylan Harmon and Mason Young. She was proceeded in death by her father, Murlin Neilson and Grandparents, Richard and Mary (Park) Neilson and Wesley and Vera (Wallenberg) Shunkwiler.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, 2013, at Harmony United Methodist Church in Mankato, Kansas at 3:30 pm., with Pastor Gerry Sharp officiating. Pallbearers will be Donald Neilson, Roger Neilson, Mike Neilson, Billy Harmon, Justin Young, and Billy Neilson. Honorary Pallbearer will be Fred Putman and Mike Terry. Interment service will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Mankato, Kansas.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 3, 2013, from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the Mortuary, and 1:00 p.m. until service time at the Harmony United Methodist Church, Mankato. Melby Mortuary, Mankato, Kansas, was in charge of arrangements. You can leave online condolences at: www.melbymortuary.com.
