Mildred Fuller Graham

October 23, 1913 — March 23, 2013

Mildred Ena (Ellington) Fuller Graham was born October 23, 1913 in Powhattan, Kansas to Eva (Higbee) and Ainer Ellingson. After her father died when she was three years old, Eva and Mildred moved to Formoso, Kansas where her Grandparents Higbee lived. Mildred married John Fuller on June 11, 1931 in Belleville, Kansas. They had two daughters, Gayle & Joan. The Fuller’s lived in Stuben and Lovewell, Kansas while John was teaching school and in Formoso, Kansas while John was a rural mail carrier. She and their daughters lived in Cody, Wyoming while John was in the Army during WWII, moving back to Formoso after the war, and lived there until 1953, when they moved to Mankato, Kansas. Mildred worked in retail stores in Cody, WY and also Mankato, but mainly was a homemaker, and enjoyed sewing for her girls, and cooking for family and friends.
Mildred accepted the Lord when she was a young girl and since her father died when she was three years old, she always said the only Father she ever knew was her Heavenly Father. She enjoyed reading, poetry, music, and played the piano and organ for many occasions, and also sang with John for many occasions. She and John loved to travel, and went to Minnesota many summers, and traveled to most of the 48 states.
After John died in 1982, Mildred married Murrell Graham in 1991. She and Murrell lived in Mankato, but spent some winter months in Texas, Murrell also preceded Mildred in death in 2002. After health problems in her later years Mildred moved to Kearney, Nebraska and was in an assisted living facility until July 2012, when her failing health caused her to move to a skilled care facility. Mildred went to be with our heavenly Father on Saturday, March 23, 2013, in Kearney, Nebraska.
