Dana Lovice (Owen) Bennett

Dana Lovice(Owen) Bennett, 76, died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011, at her home in Mankato.
She was born March 18, 1935, in Republic, Ks. the daughter of Cecil and Lorene Elliot Owen.
She attended school at Republic, KS. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, of Mankato for 40 plus years.
Dana was united in marriage to Dennis Eugene Thomas on July 27th, 1952 and to this union was born four children, Richard, Mark, Cheryl, and Laurie. After the passing of her husband Dennis, she later united in marriage to Duane Neil Bennett on August 21st, 1976.
Dana was preceded in death by her husbands, her parents, and Brother Ed Owen.
Dana is survived by her children Richard Thomas and wife Sandy of Salina, KS, Mark Thomas of Lincoln, NE, Cheryl (Thomas) Badger and husband David of Mankato, Laurie (Thomas) Neilson and husband Don of Mankato, KS., brother Brad Owen and wife Carol of Washington, KS., 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and a number of family and friends.
Visitations are on Tuesday, Sept 20th, 2011, at Melby Mortuary.
Services will be conducted at the First Baptist Church, Mankato on Wednesday September 21st, 2011 at 2 p.m. Graveside services will follow at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Mankato.
