Gary Wayne Bryant

December 8, 1966 — April 20, 2011

Gary Wayne Bryant of Burr Oak, Kansas, was born December 8, 1966, at Little Rock, Arkansas, to Norman James and Mary Sue (Posey) Bryant, and died April 20, 2011, at his home in rural Burr Oak, Kansas, at the age of 44 years, 4 months, and 12 days.

Gary grew up in Avilla, Arkansas, and attended Bryant Public School and graduated high school in 1985 in Bryant. He met Christine D. Stone and they were married May 12, 1989 at the Olive Hill Church, South Superior, Kansas. To this union three children were born – Susan, Jennifer and Raymond.

Gary has lived in Avilla, Arkansas; Juniata, Nebraska; and Jewell County, Kansas. He enjoyed cooking, going camping, fishing and gardening. Gary was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to cherish his life, his wife, Christine of 22 years, of the home; his children – Susan, Jennifer, and Raymond; his siblings – brother, Jim Bryant, and sisters, Teresa and husband, Roy Tuggle both of Alexander, Arkansas, sister, Tina and husband, Rob Burkhart, of Bryant, Arkansas, and Laura and husband, Johnny Patterson of North Little Rock, Arkansas; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service for Gary W. Bryant, will be (was) Monday, April 25, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at the Melby Mortuary Chapel, with Pastor Dave Watters officiating.
